* Pakatan Harapan applied to register as a formal coalition with the Registrar of Socieities (RoS) in July 2017. The application is still pending. Gagasan Sejahtera, United Sabah Alliance and Gabungan Rakyat Saksama are not registered as formal coalitions with the RoS.
** On April 5, the RoS ordered Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Pribumi) to temporarily disband for 30 days. The following day, Pakatan Harapan decided that all candidates from its parties will contest using the PKR symbol. On April 23, the Kuala Lumpur High Court allowed for a stay on the RoS decision against Pribumi pending the disposal of the party's judicial review bid.
